HISTORY

Built in 1917, America's Packard Museum is the only restored Packard Dealership operating as a museum. It houses the largest public collection of Packard automobiles and memorabilia in the world.

Volunteer and support

T​he museum needs your help and donations to keep its mission alive! We are always looking for new volunteers to share their time, passion, skills, and expertise with us and out guests.

Fall Hours: Open Wednesday through Sunday, Noon to 5pm

Events

Host your wedding, reception, awards ceremony, dinner dance, cocktail party or other special event at one of Dayton's hidden gems!  We have venue space for 50-250 guests, large gatherings

and intimate affairs.

BY ORDER OF THE CITY OF DAYTON A MASK IS CURRENTLY REQUIRED INSIDE THE MUSEUM.

Education

America's Packard Museum works with local and regional schools and clubs to teach everything from rebuilding a generator to 3d printing parts for a car, and from 3-point perspective sketch to metalshaping. 

A Section 501 (c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code.  All gifts are fully tax deductible.

America's Packard Museum is reopening to the public on

Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 12:00 noon. 

Fall/Winter Hours are in effect, and the Museum will be open

Wednesdays through Sundays, Noon to 5:00pm.


Wednesdays are reserved for Groups of 10 or more

and should call ahead to (937) 226-1710, to reserve a time slot.


Access to research materials will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
